New York City, 1959, raised in New York, Rome and Bogota.

"I have always moved inside and between cultures, relying on different languages and habitats of each of the places I live, including the mountains of Bogota, downtown New York, the eixample of Barcelona, the forests of Rome and the stones of Florence. These places have all made me, focused my work to speak to many at one time, trying not to culturally privilege any single group.

The undeniable shared experiences are legible in any language. Perception of Nature as an inimitable symbol of the Life Cycle, expressing not the leaves and the trees, but the air and the wind, the heat and humidity of the jungle, the coolness of the water, refreshing, inspiring, nourishing".
