Las Estaciones del Alma

Seasons of the Soul, a set of poems by Allen Tate, describes the loss and suffering and the destruction during the American Civil War. These images grew directly from the poetry especially in its similarity to the Colombian war experience. Rather than illustrate, the works suggest the pain to the individual, the assault on identity, and emotions at the forefront of devastation: love and loneliness.
